Staying
Present (Grounding)
QUESTION:
After breathing sessions, I become very ungrounded. My usual imagery doesn't
seem to work. Are there any suggestions?
ANSWER:
There are several
reasons for being ungrounded after breathing sessions. Right after a session
you are still in the euphoria of the high energy field that the breath
process has created. If the ungroundedness persists throughout the following
days, a common reason is that we may be "forgetting" to breathe.
Now that the body has returned to a daily electromagnetic frequency, we
can have some old habits surfacing, one of them could be pausing before
the inhale. Another thing that may be happening is that we haven't yet
truly relaxed that exhale. Oh I know we think it is relaxed, but is that
air falling out without any help on your part? Are you now softly breathing
in a full wave breath, starting in the lower abdomen and rising up into
the chest? It doesn't have to be a huge deep breath, but you do need to
be using all your breathing muscles at 60-70% capacity.
So what do you do about
it? Keep breathing. If you know that this is a pattern of yours, end your
sessions enfolding yourself within a beautiful deep golden brown color.
This color is your connection to earth energy and it extends from the
top of your thighs down enfolding the bottoms of your feet in your aura.
The energy color of the earth is brown; so make use of it. It brings you
back into reality and keeps you in present moment. It balances the right
and left hemispheres of the brain. It will heal your legs of many ailments.
Gently breathe it into your aura (brown is not a chakra color, it is a
grounding frequency) and especially see the color around and through your
legs, knowing this is your earth connection.
Before you get out of bed
each day, prepare your self by taking 3 or 4 cleansing breaths. Balance
your pineal gland by visualizing a beautiful royal blue color there, seeing
a circle with a dot in the center and holding the dot in the center for
about 30 seconds. This will balance and activate the pineal gland, (it
is in the middle of your head about on a level with your ears) enhancing
your visualization processes.
Now, in whatever direction
you feel guided to use, clockwise or counterclockwise, start spinning
brown from your feet up to the top of your thighs. In this visualization,
spin the colors so that they go through and around your body horizontally.
Whatever direction you chose, they must all spin in that same direction.
Work from the feet to the head always.
- Now spin pale red from
the tops of the thighs to the pubic bone - same direction.
- Now spin pale orange
from the pubic bone to the navel - same direction.
- Now spin pale yellow
between the navel and the beginning of the sternum - same direction.
- Now spin medium green
from the sternum to the collarbone - same direction.
- Now spin ice blue from
the collarbone to the tip of the nose - same direction.
- Now spin royal blue
from the tip of the nose to the top of the forehead - same direction.
- Now spin violet (not
purple) at the crown - same direction.
This can be done quickly
and is very effective for balancing and grounding and preparing you for
the day.
