Dear International Breath Institute,
What a true joy to be writing to you about my experience since I learned of THE TRANSFORMATIONAL BREATH from Gail Darwin. Gail first introduced me to "The Breath" on June 16 1995 at a Joy Breath workshop. That night I felt like another big piece in the puzzle of my journey toward enlightenment was given to me. My connection with my energy seemed to remove layers and barriers so I could easily commune with Divine Love.
I understood that it was mandatory for me to learn THE TRANSFORMATIONAL BREATH, like the Pearl of great price, and I enrolled in the next training which began June 24, 1995.
Now I am working closely with Gail and will be taking over her practice when she leaves our area in December 1995. How is that for a rapid transit transformation?
I think it is fabulous!!! Let me share some of the insights and events which lead me to this new opportunity. In 4th or 5th grade I remember telling someone that I wanted to study the mind and how to help people feel better by FIXING their minds. At that time I thought the road was as a Psychiatrist. I also remember leading and organizing the kids in my neighborhood into a group we called The Vanishing Musketeers. We wore black capes trimmed in red rick-rack that I had stitched on my mother's machine. We would gallop off to "Forests of Glory" to explore nature in a wonderful garden/yard we had permission to play in. Then we would lay down in the warm green grass and look up at the clouds. In recent research I learned that one's interests between the ages of 7-14 were very close to "The Heart" or what our purpose for life really was.
I've studied metaphysics, God's laws, diligently for about the past 20 years. I've worked as a spiritual healer, a trainer using affirmations, visualizations and relaxation techniques etc. Yes, to actively contribute to the journey of others, as they discover their true selves and as I must get to know and claim my own magnificence better, is perfect work for me.
Insights I've gained from my own breathing process are numerous and powerful. One of the most powerful ideas to date is this idea of surrender. My, my. What I am understanding to be my surrender of the moment is this idea of yielding up of all that is unlike Heart energy. That means good-bye to pain, suffering, and lack of any sort, surrendering habits that don't serve my Higher Self. Yes. This is exactly the work that I want to do.
Another important insight is that I need to claim my role as respected Teacher, journey leader. When I asked from deep within those were roles I heard for myself and I want to put them on.
Thanks for your diligent effort in developing THE TRANSFORMATIOAL BREATH and sending Gail Darwin out into the world to find me and bless me with this tool. I'm ready to take the next step as a Breath Ambassador.
With Love,
Amy
